1billion women

The visible nature of the campaign serves to highlight the issues affecting women's lives, including the ongoing fight for equality and justice; economic poverty; fertility and health rights; violence against women; exploitation; discrimination; slavery and trafficking and many other issues and challenges. The March to End Violence Against Women, is organised both in defiance of the stated inequality and in celebration of the achievements and resilience of womankind often against the odds. It follows a now established tradition of telling HERSTORY and keeping that story on the national, regional and international agenda.

The Million Women Rise March and Rally takes place annually in London and other cities including Nottingham, Manchester and Leeds...come on Derby!
